Trip to Singapore- Day 5- Sentosa Island and back to Chennai

When you think of fun things to do in Singapore, Sentosa island is the thing that comes first to most of our minds. Sentosa  island has something for everybody be it it's beautiful beaches, casinos , amusement parks or its other varied attractions. So post our visit to Sentosa on day 3 when we visited Universal Studios we wanted to spend our last day in Singapore to enjoy the other attractions in Sentosa island.

Since we had taken the monorail from Vivo City mall during our visit to Universal Studios Singapore we decided to take the cable car to Sentosa this time around. The cable car ride is a 15 minute ride and on the way to the island we had noticed the newly opened Adventure Cove Water Park  which we were not aware of.

Tip : If you want to see all attraction of Sentosa and also visit the water park you would need at least 2 days. Since it was our last day in Singapore we tried to squeeze in as much as we could that day.

Yes, I ventured into this lately, since I came across in a lot of blogs that an orange corrector can tackle dark circles.I started with an affordable option since I didn't want to foray into very expensive ones for my mild dark circles.

Correctors are the latest boon to girls suffering from pigmentation/dark circles/dark spots.The corrector has to be applied first on the problematic areas and then foundation has to be layered on top. The correctors come in various shades and are used to counteract various problems like acne scars, dark circles etc. Correctors work on the principle of the color wheel , i.e; opposite colors on the color wheel compliment each other.

Whether a girl finds the right gold jewelry or not , she needs to find the right gold eye shadow for her wedding in India. 1 : Prime your eyes using an eye primer.I used Ponds BB cream as a primer which keeps the eye shadow intact for about 5 to 6 hours.

My skin lacks glow and is quite dry except my T-zone. I have slowly started incorporating fruits into my diet & ensure that I have at least one fruit a day although its less according to the doctors.

KEY INGREDIENTS : FRUITS EXTRACT, GLYCERIN, VEGETABLE OILS.

Soap look & Feel :

The soap is a pink rectangular bar with fruit extracts embedded inside the bar. The online version shows a a white soap with green & yellow fruit extracts, but mine was a light baby pink bar with dark pink fruit extracts.It comes wrapped in a transparent plastic sheet and the soap is clearly visible for easy selection.It smells divine and the smell is not over powering.

My opinion about the Khadi Mixed Fruit soap :

The soap lathers decently though it seems quite slimy initially. The skin feels soft & supple after the very first wash.My dry skin felt fresh and moisturized after every usage.The soap lasted about a month although I made it a point to use it everyday both morning & in the night.

(But I noticed my second bar of soap was being used up fast and later found out that my husband too was using it..)

Yes, I agree, it could be a bit tempting.I noticed considerable reduction in my shoulder acne and my skin felt smooth.The fragrance stays for about half an hour for me after my bath.

The soap has won my heart in many ways being skin friendly and pocket friendly.

Trip to Singapore Day 4 - Jurong Bird Park and Marina Bay Sands Observatory Desk

So after visiting the Singapore Zoo the previous day we decided to visit the other famous attraction in Singapore – Jurong Bird Park. Post a really hectic day this was a place to go enjoy nature and all birds at a leisurely pace spending half a day.

We spent the first 1-2 hours walking around enjoying the various attractions the park had to offer.

Tip : Use the mono rail in the park to shorten your walking times between attractions.

Eyeshadow Application using only eyeliner pencils

It has been a while since I posted some tutorial.. While I was contemplating on what tutorial I can post, I remembered my bridal MUA Kavitha who did a fabulous job with simple eyeshadows and brushes..So it is in the hands of the MUA and not the products what they use. When I spoke to her regarding my blog & my ideas, she suggested a simple, yet glam eye makeup tutorial using only colored eyeliner pencils, some Q tips, a pair of false lashes and offered to do the tutorial for me.
