I am not someone who invests a lot of time into face powders and sometimes I am good to go with just a BB cream. But when I look at my face after a while it is all shiny & greasy. I have been using my Kanebo Media powder all this while that I purchased in Hongkong and did not look for other alternatives since I am on a mission to finish up products.But in my recent Rimmel London haul, I picked up this budget beauty Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder and it has impressed me from the first usage.

My View on Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder :

The powder comes in a normal pan kind of packaging and it has the Rimmel London logo design embossed on it. It should have had an applicator and I end up using my sponge applicator or my powder brush if at all I find time to look for it. The lid does not fit tightly on the pan and there are chances that it can come off when we take it with us in our bags. 

I would not recommend it to be take around with you for touch ups.

The texture of the powder is quite fine(I wouldn't say extermely milled) and it is quite easy to blend as well on to the face. The formula is very lightweight and it does not feel like an extra layer on the face at all and it completely gels with your complexion. It does help in hiding the open pores to some extent since my pores are quite big. It has a got a mild pleasant fragrance which I personally like.

It imparts a nice glow and makes you look flawless and bright.

How I tested the Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder ?

I wanted to test this powder and I wore it to office without any foundation/BB cream underneath. February is really hot in Chennai with lot of humidity which was really apt for me to test this powder.It kept my face(especially T zone) oil free for 5 hours. After 4 hours, my eyelids started becoming oily and my pencil liner started smudging on my crease - my eyelids are extremely oily and I prefer liquid liners due to this problem.
