Paris and Switzerland Cosmetics and accessories haul

My haul this time is not as big as my Hongkong Haul.. What is the reason I refrained from buying lots?

Is it because of my husband?------------------------------- No
Is it because of the budget?----------------------------- No
Then why?----------------------------------------
Because of the baggage :( Since the trip was for 13 days we had to carry enough clothes and there was hardly any space left in my suitcase. I literally had to sit on top of it to close it. I can read your mind...Dont worry, while buying it, I ensured that it can bear my weight... :)

Nevertheless, I managed to grab some interesting stuff that would fit into my budget as well as suitcase. :P

You can find the products that I purchased below in the pic ; the prices and shop names are given below the picture.

Products Purchased :

1 : I bought the Minnie Mouse hair clip from Disneyland, Paris. It is priced at 12 Euros.

2 : From Monoprix, I picked up 3 earrings - The dark blue one priced at 7.90 Euro, The white ring priced at 2 Euro & the orange with white at the left most bottom corner priced at 4 Euro. I also picked up a clay face mask by Cattier priced at 5 Euros and a Bioderma Cleansing Water priced at 8.5 Euros. Monoprix is a great one stop shop with lot of offers going on most of the times. You can find clothing, jewelry, accessories in this shop.

3 : From Sephora, I picked up a cheek contour powder so that my perfectly round face (my husband says this) looks a bit contoured in the pics :) This was about 12 Euros.

4 : From H & M in Paris, I picked up the hat that you can see in the pic at 9 Euros.

5 : From another Pharmacie in Rue De Commerce, I picked up Vichy's Scrub+ Toner + Masque, a Klorane shampoo ( which I gifted someone) and  paid a total of 18 Euros.

6 : Champs Elysee is a great shopping street with a combination of high end shops & mid range too. It had a huge Sephora outlet. I didnt want to sneak in because I was scared that I will not have self control.

7 : Thanks to our Hint Hunt organizer, he told us about Rue Beauborg which is an affordable shopping place with a lot of street side shops giving excellent goods at moderate prices. My husband picked a grey colored jacket at 25 Euros since it was raining cats & dogs in Paris most of the days. We did not anticipate it & carried heavy winter clothes for only Switzerland. Though he bought, I was only sporting it on all days since he had another jacket with him. Pics below :

Shops on Rue Beauborg

His brothers bought several T shirts & jackets for themselves. We bought some cute jewelry for gifting our cousins and I picked up a clutch at 10 Euros. Great quality for the price. The earrings are resting on the clutch. My MIL picked up a sandal for 10 Euros- again a great deal..

8 : While we were hurriedly heading to meet our guide for Louvre , I did notice the Forever 21 outlet on Rue De Rivoli and thought " I will come back after the guided tour". So did I.. After the Louvre Museum tour, we headed to Forever 21 & they had 3 for 2 offer. Pick up 3 items, pay for 2 & get the cheapest of the 3 free. Great deal actually- but due to space constraint, I picked up the light blue statement necklace at 9.90 Euros & MIL bought a bracelet for 8.90 Euros and I bought the orange earring for 4.90 Euro and that was not billed.

You can look up here to find items similar to the statement necklace.

9 : My husband picked up a pair of jeans for 35 Euros from H & M, Bahnofstrasse, Zurich. It was a very colorful street with lot of shops.

10 : On the last day, we picked up a La Roche Posay (finally) face wash for oily sensitive skin for my husband and we paid 18 CHF(Swiss Franc). His oily skin actually saved him in Switzerland. My dry skin gave me a lot of problems in the trip.

People with dry skin please carry a hydrating cream to save your skin.
