How do you expect a Day cream to be ?
This is a very tricky question and the answer varies depending on the skin type. If someone asks me this, my answer would be that an ideal day dream should be light weight, slightly runny, quick absorbing that provides hydration as well as UV protection in summers. While in winters, I would prefer a more thicker and a more nourishing cream which would provide the necessary moisture to my skin.
Some times I just dab on some sunscreen and use a matte powder on top of it for a quick fix, but it does not stay for long. My skin turns oily and sticky very quickly on such days which really puts me off. Grape seed oil
Oil from grape seeds has twice as much Vitamin E as olive oil. And Vitamin E is a great antioxidant for your skin, helpful in preventing sun damage. Sunscreens
We have chosen widely accepted, commonly used sunscreens and a tiny bit of mineral sunblock here – no rocket science, really. PABA went out of favor as a sunscreen long back, and should stay that way.

The cream comes in a squeeze type plastic tube which is very very useful for storage as well as usage.I store it vertically with the nozzle facing down so that the product comes out easily during removal.The outer packaging is quite sturdy and is travel friendly since the lid too sits tightly.It has the text Plum Goodness printed on one side and all other details like usage, ingredients & benefits printed on other side.
The plum goodness light stay day cream has quite a thick & creamy consistency which demands quick blending into the skin. The cream blends into the skin in a minute and does not create any white patches. It has a pleasant smell that reminds me of Fair n Lovely a little and the smell is appealing. Once applied, it takes about few minutes to get absorbed into the skin and in the mean time, I sweat a lot near my nose bridge & upper lip area.I need to keep wiping the sweat till the cream gets absorbed completely which kind of puts me down.
The cream does not feel heavy or cakey on the skin and keeps your face oil free for about 3 hours after which it feels oily on the T zone.My face feels soft after I use the cream and I just apply powder on top of it on normal days.
Though it contains SPF 30, it does not feel oily or sticky on my face . The cream provides sun protection and it prevents me from getting tanned. The presence of Grape Seed oil & Sea Buckthorn oil provides the much needed Vit E to my skin and it helps me prevent ageing of my skin and keeps it supple. It is Paraben free and hence you need not worry about any side effects. I have not been able to detect any changes in my existing wrinkles but I have not developed any new laugh lines or wrinkles.My skin has become more clearer than before and it has got a slight glow.
