Ethnic at its best !! - My day out to an Ethnic Location,sporting an Ethnic look

As much as I love wearing colorful tunics and western outfits, I also equally enjoy wearing a saree or any ethnic dress for that matter. My blog has featured posts with me wearing ethinic outfits ( mostly sarees ) but however I wanted to do something different this time. 

I was interested in doing a post which will not only involve everything ethnic, but also eco-friendly and environmentally sustainable fabrics. I have also taken care that the accessories that I have worn in this look and also my handbag is also eco friendly.  So when sporting such a look, should you not be in a location which again depicts the culture and heritage of India? I chose to shoot this in Dakshin Chitra which is a museum featuring the arts, crafts and traditions of different states of South India.

It's raining Earrings and Necklaces - Traditional Jewelry Haul

In all my blog posts, I have either directly or indirectly mentioned that I love accessories so much and it defines me as a person. I am an accessories hoarder, no doubt, but I do use them and they last a lifetime.This is a long pending post as I did not find time to click proper pics of the new traditional jewelry that has joined my collection. Of course, there have been a few posts on the blog where I have even worn them , but I need to give them some due respect by featuring them separately for the love I have for them.

I would like to divide the haul into 2 sections :

1 : South Indian Terracotta jewelry : I bought 2 terracotta sets and one jhumka from a direct seller in Pollachi, TamilNadu. I came to know of her through a friend and placed my order by sending sample pic to her through whatsapp. I had ordered a necklace & earrings set from her prior to this and I have worn it here.

Diwali Special Nail Art, Accessories Post

Diwali is a special festival in India....It brings families & friends together.. We exchange sweets & savouries .. Visit our families, seek blessings from the elderly.. Go to the temple.. Devour on sweets. &&&&&&&&&&& for us girls/ladies.. it is shopping time :)

Some were bought from Chennai, some from Cochin.The shop's name is Goodwill Collections in Cochin & the shop in Chennai is called Juz Junk.. My MIL was kind enough to get me some lovely earrings.. Thank you Ma... 

The ones bought in Chennai are the Green & Blue Jhumka in the second row,Purple & green Chaand Bali, pink earrings at the bottom row & the black one to the right of it. The purple Chaand Bali was gifted by my husband for Diwali...

I just love the Chaand Balis in the left corner & the Black Terracotta Jhumka.. Which one do u like the most girls????
