I know this post is quite late for those friends in India where some of them are experiencing monsoons and some, light showers but nevertheless, for Singapore, it is still summer. I love bright colors and sport them quite often especially shades like bright yellow and orange. You all know that I am a jewelry addict and had recently purchased some classic pieces from my favorite brand Lovisa and you can read about that here.Long Story Short - I had been eyeing a statement necklace for a long time and finally I bought it during the sale season but did not know how to style it since it was quite a chunky / funky one. You have to be very careful while styling a statement necklace as it can make or break an outfit depending on how you are styling it. After going through a lot of pictures on Instagram, Pinterest and not finding the right inspiration, I decided to trust my instincts and searched shops for the matching outfit.

Featuring the perfect Knitted Asymmetrical Top - My first Zara Purchase

Winter dressing is kind of fun because you get to go bold with your makeup since the outfit is mostly monochrome & typically dark colored , unlike summers where your outfits do most of the talking.Singapore is kind of warm throughout the year like Chennai , so I do not get to experiment with winter clothing much. But however the month of December was pretty good with rains everyday & the weather was pleasant, which gave me an opportunity to experiment a little with my clothing & hence I got an awesome asymmetrical top from Zara.The advantage of living in a country like Singapore is that, we get to celebrate various festivals one after the other & the Sale Season too keeps coming more frequently.

The Sale started with Diwali, then Christmas, followed by New Year & now Chinese New Year and what stops you when there is a Sale at H&M, Zara & so on ?

I have never purchased anything from Zara till now,  because in India there were options like Lifestyle (which is like a one stop shop for me), and I have never felt the need to go to Zara.

What my husband gifted me for our third anniversary

Lovisa is an Australian brand and they have exquisite fashion jewelry collection and lot of outlets across Singapore and Malaysia. They are quite highly priced but I feel their collection is quite unique and worth the price.The necklaces were neatly wrapped and then gift wrapped too.
