I was someone who did not believe in Astrology and discouraged my parents to stop seeing Astrologers and told them things had to happen in a certain fashion which we cannot prevent or make it happen.You might wonder why I am talking something out of the blue but I wanted to start giving some insights about my daily life in my blog posts to make it more interactive rather than just reviews all the time.

After certain happenings in my life, I have started believing in Astrology and started seeing Astrologers myself. Things do not seem to be happening as expected on my end and hence, I met up with an Astrologer and she told me till June it might continue this way and suggested some prayers that I can do in order to cool down the planets that were playing football in my life.

I sometimes really wonder how planetary motion can affect our lives so much and there is nothing that we can do about it. I have been down health wise lately and there have been some issues one after the other but thankfully nothing is serious. This is the reason why I am not able to post frequently as planned but I am trying to write as and when I get some motivation. Do share some of your experiences so that I would learn a lot from you guys.

Sometimes I really feel perplexed how some of the bloggers regularly do monthly empties post, because for me to completely finish a product seems like a big chore. Phew ! but finally, I managed to clear out some of the products from my bathroom vanity by intentionally using them on a regular basis in order to fill up with new skincare products.

I always have this habit of opening up new products when the old one is only about half used but, this time, I made my mind to completely finish off the old products so that I can have fresh products to try.

So lets us see what are the products that I managed to empty over the course of 1.5 months and some of them have been reviewed already on the blog.

I love going to the theaters often and watching movies and I am so lucky to get a husband who also enjoys watching movies in the theater. I watch a lot of tamil films, which is my mother tongue and recently there has been some really mazing movies with fresh scripts.

On such a recent visit to the theater on a hot, bright and sunny day, I chose to wear my new H&M white shirt which I have been raving about here & here along with some mint shaded accessories & pants to beat the heat.I went in for pastel shades on my nails too and wore Essence Gel nail paint in the shade Sweet As a Candy.

Being a woman, have you ever been ridiculed and generalised for taking a long time to shop for clothes? Even I have undergone this though no one ever knows how fast I am when it comes to Clothes shopping and how slow my husband is. Yes, this might seem so surprising but this is the fact. My husband and I walked into H&M last week and we walked out of the store in about 45 minutes with 4 dresses. Can you believe that? Well, you are bound to believe that and I also got another top from Dorothy Perkins another day when there was a sale going on.

I used to be so crazy about them and did have a cute collection too. What is the most striking thing that one might notice in a barbie doll? The rosy cheeks are the first thing I notice in a barbie doll and it is really important for us to wear the right shade of blush in the right way to look great.

In my latest Sephora haul, I picked up a bold shade of blush which I would have usually avoided because I am an out and out coral blush lover.The blush is from NYX and is an Ombre blush with hues of bold pink and purple. Such shades of blush would look good when you are wearing silver toned accessories and I really needed one such shade in my vanity.

How many times have you simply stood in front of your wardrobe & wondered what to wear in spite of having your wardrobe full of clothes? It is because we are not sometimes organized or prepared for the upcoming days. Makeup removal is an arduous task, but definitely not something that you can give a miss if you are aiming for flawless skin. There are nights when I have literally started sleeping & then realized that I have not taken off my makeup and not prepared for a breakout the next morning. I have talked lots about makeup removal in so many posts and you would know it if you had been following my blog regularly.

Makeup removers, Cleansing waters, cleansing milk - all 3 of them basically do the same work, but to different extents. I have got to try all 3 of them & hands down, I would recommend cleansing Water like Bioderma,  but it can cause a hole in your pockets. There has to be some affordable alternative for them, right? So I got to try the Ponds White Beauty Cleansing Milk and so far, I have been really liking it and I have my review here.

I have always wanted to try Freeman's products after I tried one of their Avocado face mask in 2013 and after that, I got access to their whole set of products after shifting here and did try a few of them.I had purchased several masks and the Kiwi facial cleanser and today I am going to review the cleanser.

Freeman products usually have a strong chemical smell which I am not a big fan of but this cleanser does not have that strong chemical smell which makes me like it more.I love their product packaging which is usually very colorful and attractive to the eyes.

NYX XXL Lush Lashes Mascara Review

One of the first makeup product that I fell in love with was a Mascara, followed by lipsticks. It can add so much glamor to your face and won't cost a bomb but it sometimes underrated too. Mascaras can brighten up your face instantly and can definitely pop your eyes out.

A mascara needs to be updated every 6 months in your vanity because there are high chances of developing an eye infection due to the accumulation of bacteria on the bristles.This is something I adhere to without fail because I cannot take chances when it comes to my eyes. So when my 6 months stint with Faces Mascara was over, I tried my hands on NYX XXL Mascara for which I have mixed opinions so far and let us move on to the review.

Finally I succumb to my heart's desire and give myself some retail therapy which definitely keeps me going.

On such a day, I stepped out with a list & a budget in mind, to Sephora and ensured I stuck to the budget & at the same time got all my makeup cravings satiated.

How does retail therapy help you stay motivated ?

More products to test would in turn mean more products to write about & thereby, I don't have to sit & break my head as to what to write about. Isn't this better than emotional eating & gaining a few pounds ?
